This collection contains photographs of stars who performed on the Shreveport based country music radio and television show "Louisiana Hayride." "Louisiana Hayride" began production in April 1948 as a radio show recorded in Shreveport's Municipal Memorial Auditorium and featured performances from stars like Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Jimmie Davis. The show ceased production in August 1960. The photos include Elvis Presley, David Houston, Faron Young, Slim Whitman, Red Sovine, Johnny Horton and Johnny Cash.
