Photographs of Josie Arlington (a prominent New Orleans madam), members of her family, a Grand Route St. John residence as well as posed erotica. The colleciton was donated in two parts. The first set of eight prints are family photographs of the Deubler family and contain annotations by the donor, Kenneth Owen, on reverse. The erotica photos were enclosed in handmade folder with typed label, "NEW ORLEANS IN 1880 | a unique portfolio | from the original glass negatives" and were donated by an anonymous donor and feature posed erotica supposedly from New Orleans.

A photograph of Josie Arlington’s home at 2721 Esplanade Avenue. New Orleans, LA. The house was moved to its current location, 2863 Grand Route St. John, in the 1920's when the Orleans Parish School Board purchased the lot for the future McDonogh No. 28 School.
