At Mr. Crandall's right is the senior warden, Mr. Gordon Gano who struck the bell during the service. ... The bell is an F-sharp bell, weighs 1870 pounds and cost $3,565. Cast in 1952 of bronze. Made by Petit and Fritsen, Ltd., bell founders since 1660, in Aarle-Rixtel, Holland... July 8th, Wednesday, 1953, the bell was today placed in the tower."
